At Fillo AI, we take your privacy extremely seriously. We built this extension with a privacy-first approach, ensuring that your data remains securely within your control.

Fillo AI gathers information that you explicitly provide, such as:

Profile Information: Data you input into the Fillo AI extension (e.g., name, contact details, work history, education).
Resume Data: Information extracted from PDFs you upload to the extension.
Custom Prompts: Specific prompts or rules you configure for the AI.

2. How We Store Your Data

Everything is Local: All of the information mentioned above—your profile, parsed resume data, and settings—is stored locally in your browser's isolated storage using the chrome.storage API.

Zero Cloud Storage: We do not operate any external databases, cloud servers, or remote storage systems to save your personal data. Your data never leaves your device unless you initiate an LLM request locally.

3. How AI Processing Works

To provide intelligent form autofill, Fillo AI processes the text of the fields on the web pages you visit alongside the data you've saved. Depending on your configuration:

Local Models (e.g., Ollama): If configured to use a local LLM, all processing happens entirely on your machine. Absolutely zero data is sent to the internet.

4. Third-Party Services

Other than potential connections to the local LLM running on your device, Fillo AI does not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties.

5. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can delete all your stored profile information and settings at any time by using the "Delete Profile" or clear data options within the extension's settings. Once deleted from your browser, it is permanently erased.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
